Hello there, welcome to my humble abode. For those who don’t know me I seem like a very shy person but once you get to know me you’ll realize that I’m a very passionate, determined, and down-to-earth individual. I have a love for figure skating (if you haven’t already realized that) that is honestly beyond words, it’s been a part of my life for so many years that I can’t imagine my life without it. The sport has taught me so many lessons that are applicable to areas of life outside the realm of ice skating. I have discovered that failure and disappointment are apart of life, and that giving up is never an option for something that means the world to you. I have realized that half the battle of achieving a goal is to believe in yourself. No matter how hard something comes across it’s always important to have self-confidence in everything that you attempt. This has been something that I still struggle with, but I have definitely learned that mistakes are inevitable, and the important thing is to learn from them.
“Don’t wait until everything is just right. It will never be perfect. There will always be challenges, obstacles and less than perfect conditions. So what. Get started now. With each step you take, you will grow stronger and stronger, more and more skilled, more and more self-confident and more and more successful.” -Mark Victor Hansen
“The greatest battle is not physical but psychological. The demons telling us to give up when we push ourselves to the limit can never be silenced for good. They must always be answered by the quiet, steady dignity that simply refuses to give in. Courage. We all suffer. Keep going.” -Graeme Fife
